CET Technology provides toroidal transformers with practically any voltage and power rating. The shape of this transformer is what defines it. It uses a closed loop permeable core. There is no gap other than perhaps a distributed gap throughout the core material. It is wound such that very nearly all of the magnetic flux stays within the core which greatly reduces interference with other nearby devices. This also means higher efficiencies than typical EI transformers. Larger toroid transformer typically have flying leads to interface with the windings while smaller ones can be base mounted with pins.

Closed-Loop Core Design
Their closed-loop heart is what makes them unique. That the magnetic energy stays inside the core instead of leaking out is made possible by this design.
